Meet Ian Williams

Riding mountain bikes has been a huge passion of mine since childhood, and I have enjoyed working on bikes almost as long! I joined the bicycle industry in 2003, where my first job in the workshop was to build my own pair of wheels.

Since then I have built many wheels for all types of riders – everything from super lightweight wheels for XC lap racing, to wheels more suited to marathons and stage races, to wheels that have competed at World Cup Downhill races. I am known for my attention to detail and precision workmanship.

Selecting The Correct Components

Taking many factors into consideration we select the correct components to suit your unique requirements. Factors include rim width and weight, the amount of spokes, lacing pattern, spoke tension, hub engagement, and of course your budget.
